What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that bring the past to life — helping students understand change, continuity, and perspective while developing key analytical and evaluative skills.
In addition, you’ll:
- Contribute to ongoing curriculum and resource development
- Support GCSE and A-Level students in achieving excellent outcomes
- Encourage debate, reflection and independent research
- Participate in enrichment and trust-wide projects that extend learning beyond the classroom
About You
You’ll bring:
- QTS, PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
- A strong subject knowledge and genuine enthusiasm for History
- The ability to plan lessons that inspire curiosity and critical thinking
- A collaborative approach and commitment to high expectations for all learners
- Willingness to contribute to the wider school and community life
