About the Role:

At Richard Nelson LLP, we offer experienced solicitors the opportunity to work as Self-Employed Consultants within a fully supported and respected National Law Firm.

Who We're Looking For:

We're interested in hearing from Senior Solicitors with strong legal expertise. You must have in-depth post-qualification experience and the ability to manage your own caseload confidently.

This is an excellent opportunity for Solicitors who want to focus on fee earning and client relationships without the constraints of traditional partnership structures.

  • Case management in your specific area of Law
  • Client representation and Advocacy (where appropriate)

  • Collaboration with colleagues across the firm

Essential Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualified Solicitor with current practising certificate – 5 years PQE Minimum
  • Proven experience within your Specialism/Area of Law
  • Demonstrable track record of successful case outcomes
  • Ability to demonstrate a genuine client following

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent negotiation experience and skills
  • Outstanding oral and written communication abilities
  • Strong client care and relationship management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a specialist team
  • Efficient time management and organisational skills

Professional Knowledge

  • Thorough understanding of the obligations of working as a solicitor, including ethical responsibilities
  • Knowledge and proficient use of case management systems and IT

  • Approachable manner with ability to explain complex legal matters clearly
