Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant
We are a friendly and inclusive primary school committed to providing a nurturing and engaging environment for our pupils. We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our Key Stage 1 team. The Role
As a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers in delivering high-quality learning experiences for children aged 5-7. You will work with individuals and small groups to help pupils develop their literacy, numeracy, and social skills. Key Responsibilities Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities
Work with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce learning
Assist with classroom management and behaviour support
Help prepare learning materials and resources
Support children with additional needs where required
Encourage a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment The Ideal Candidate Will Have Experience working with children in a primary school setting (desirable)
A caring, patient, and enthusiastic attitude
Good communication and teamwork skills
Basic knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum
A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant - desirable but not essential) What We Offer A supportive and welcoming team
