Salary: £95 - £120 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are seeking dedicated and supportive Secondary School Teaching Assistants to work in schools across Nottingham .

As a Secondary School Teaching Assistant , you will work closely with teachers to support classroom learning, assist students who need additional help, and help maintain a positive and productive learning environment.

Main Responsibilities of a Secondary School Teaching Assistant:

* Support the class teacher in delivering lessons across different subjects
* Provide one-to-one and small group support to students who require additional assistance
* Assist with the preparation of classroom resources and learning materials
* Encourage student engagement and participation during lessons
* Help maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
* Support classroom behaviour management in line with school policies
* Assist students with their learning tasks and coursework
* Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to support student progress

Requirements of a Secondary School Teaching Assistant:

* Experience working with children or young people is desirable
* A patient, supportive, and positive approach to working with students
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
* A genuine interest in supporting students' learning and development
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
