About the Role
The successful candidate will deliver engaging Physics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting pupils to develop scientific knowledge, analytical skills, and a love of learning.
Key responsibilities include:
Teaching Physics across Key Stages 3 and 4
Planning and delivering engaging lessons that include practical experiments and demonstrations
Supporting pupils in developing problem-solving and analytical skills
Monitoring pupil progress and providing constructive feedback
Preparing pupils for examinations and assessments
Contributing to the development of the Science curriculum
Supporting departmental initiatives, clubs, or enrichment activities
Experience and Skills
The successful candidate will:
Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
Have strong subject knowledge in Physics
Be confident delivering practical and theoretical lessons
Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills
Be passionate about inspiring pupils in science education
Work effectively within a collaborative department
