Core Responsibilities & Scope
- Culinary Leader: Planning and preparing a varied, nutritious, and appetizing daily menu for pupils and staff.
- Hygiene Champion: Ensuring strict compliance with all relevant Food Hygiene regulations (HACCP) and kitchen safety standards.
- Team Manager: Managing food orders, stock control, budgets, and supervising kitchen assistants.
Compensation & Benefits
- Essential Requirements: Relevant catering qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent), proven experience in high-volume catering, and comprehensive knowledge of school food standards.
- Salary Range: Competitive salary (expected to be £33,000 - £38,000 per annum).
