Commify is seeking an experienced Engineering Team Lead to guide and inspire our software development teams. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for managing engineering resources, driving the execution of technical projects, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to align engineering efforts with business goals, while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities:
- Leading, managing, and mentoring a team of software engineers to deliver product features on schedule and to high quality standards
- Overseeing the day-to-day engineering activities and resource allocation within the team
- Building and delivering best in class bespoke professional services solutions to Commify's global customer base
- Collaborating with Sales, Product and Solutions teams to plan development cycles and prioritise work
- Facilitating agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Driving continuous improvement in development processes, tooling, and team collaboration
- Ensuring adherence to software development best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance
- Managing engineering risks and resolving technical challenges
- Promoting a culture of knowledge sharing, learning, and innovation within the team
Candidate requirements:
- Proven experience as a hands on technical/engineering team lead in software development
- Strong background in software engineering, with expertise in languages such as C# (.NET / .NET Core) and JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React)
- Hands-on experience with cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure
- Solid understanding of software architecture, RESTful API design, and microservices
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and applying Agile methodologies effectively
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and drive team productivity
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps practices is highly desirable
