School Data Officer - Nottingham, Nottinghamshire
A well-established and forward-thinking 11–18 secondary school in Nottingham is seeking to appoint a highly organised and detail-oriented School Data Officer to join its administrative and pastoral support team. This is a full-time, permanent role in a school that places strong value on accurate data, clear systems and professional support services.
The role plays a vital part in supporting teaching, learning and strategic decision-making across the school, working closely with senior leaders, curriculum teams and pastoral staff.
The Role
As School Data Officer, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining and analysing a wide range of student and assessment data to support progress tracking, reporting and school improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing student assessment and progress data across all key stages
Producing reports for senior leadership, governors and external agencies
Supporting departments with data analysis and interpretation
Maintaining accurate records linked to attainment, attendance and interventions
Supporting exam and reporting cycles in collaboration with exams staff
Accuracy, confidentiality and attention to detail are essential, as the data produced informs both classroom practice and whole-school planning.

Experience within a school environment is desirable, though strong data and administrative experience from other sectors will also be considered.
