Salary: £95 - £120 per day (depending on experience)

Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary Teaching Assistants to join schools in Nottingham .

As a Secondary Teaching Assistant , you will play a key role in supporting students' learning, both individually and in small groups, helping them to stay focused and achieve their best. You will work closely with teachers to ensure lessons run smoothly and students receive the support they need.

Responsibilities of a Secondary Teaching Assistant:

* Support students with their learning in class and in small groups
* Assist the teacher in delivering lessons and preparing resources
* Encourage students' engagement and participation during lessons
* Support students with additional needs or challenges
* Help manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
* Provide one-to-one support where necessary
* Monitor and report student progress to teaching staff
* Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment

Requirements of a Secondary Teaching Assistant:

* Experience working with children or young people is desirable
* Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
* Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff
* Proactive and reliable approach to supporting students
* A genuine interest in helping students achieve their potential
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
