An award winning technology integrator based in Nottingham is growing its engineering team.

This is an opportunity for a Security Engineer who wants more than just alarms and CCTV. If you enjoy security but are curious about home automation, smart lighting, networks and high end residential systems, this role offers the chance to broaden your skillset properly.

The business delivers projects across luxury homes and blue chip commercial environments, with 99 percent of work within 50 miles of Nottingham.

The Role

You will install and configure a wide range of integrated systems including:

* Access Control and Intruder Alarms
* CCTV systems
* Structured cabling
* IT networks and WiFi
* Home Automation including Control4 and Crestron
* Lighting control including Lutron, DALI and DMX
* SMATV, MATV and IRS systems
* Audio Visual systems, PA, video walls and home cinemas

This is a hands on installation role within a business that prides itself on quality and attention to detail.

About You

You will likely have at least 3 years experience within Security or integrated systems.

Strong backgrounds in Access Control, Intruder, CCTV or network infrastructure are very welcome. Experience in home automation is ideal but not essential if you are motivated to learn.

You must bring:

* Strong work ethic
* Self discipline and reliability
* Attention to detail
* A genuine interest in technology
* Clean driving licence

CSCS or ECS certifications are beneficial but not essential.

This is ideal for a Security Engineer who wants to evolve into Smart Home and integrated technology without leaving installation behind.

Package details

* £30,000 - £40,000 basic salary
* Regular promotion from within
* Varied projects across residential and commercial
* All tools and company vehicle provided
