Salary: £100 - £130 per day (depending on experience)

Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time

Are you confident managing a classroom and supporting students' learning in a secondary school setting?

GSL Education are seeking reliable and enthusiastic Secondary School Cover Supervisors to work in schools across Nottingham .

As a Secondary School Cover Supervisor , you will supervise classes during the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students remain engaged with their learning and that lessons run smoothly using the materials provided.

Responsibilities of a Secondary School Cover Supervisor:

* Supervise classes across different subjects during teacher absences
* Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and ensure students stay on task
* Maintain a positive, focused, and productive classroom environment
* Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
* Support students in completing their classwork and learning activities
* Provide guidance and assistance where needed during lessons
* Report any behavioural issues or concerns to the relevant staff
* Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students

Secondary School Cover Supervisor Requirements:

* Experience working with children or young people is desirable
* Confidence in managing a classroom environment
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* The ability to follow lesson plans and instructions effectively
* A flexible and proactive approach to working in schools
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
