A well-established regional law firm in Nottinghamshire is seeking a Residential Conveyancer to join its busy Residential Conveyancing team.

This role would suit a newly qualified solicitor or conveyancer looking to build confidence in a high-quality conveyancing environment, as well as experienced practitioners who enjoy handling a varied and fast-paced caseload.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing residential property transactions from initial instruction through to completion, including post-completion matters. The caseload will include:

• Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
• New build transactions
• Transfers of equity
• Shared ownership matters
• Lease extensions
• Right to Buy
• Post-completion work including SDLT submissions and Land Registry requisitions

You will deal directly with clients, maintaining clear communication throughout the transaction and delivering a high standard of service.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a mixed residential conveyancing caseload efficiently and accurately
• Building and maintaining strong client and referrer relationships
• Meeting billing targets and working effectively to tight deadlines
• Using case management and billing systems confidently
• Supporting marketing, networking, and team initiatives as required

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Legal Executive (newly qualified upwards)
• Experience or strong exposure to residential conveyancing matters
• Ability to manage a high-volume, fast-paced workload
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Confident IT skills and experience using case management systems
• Able to work independently with appropriate supervision, and as part of a team

Additional Information

• Good knowledge of AML and GDPR requirements is essential
• Candidates must comply with professional and regulatory standards
• Satisfactory references and pre-employment checks (including DBS, credit and ID checks) will be required
