The successful candidate will provide academic and strategic leadership for Mathematics, delivering a challenging, engaging, and coherent curriculum that supports high levels of attainment and confidence for all learners. They will play a key role in driving standards, inspiring staff, and embedding a culture of excellence within the department.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the strategic development and day-to-day management of the Maths department.
Deliver high-quality Maths teaching across KS3–KS5, including GCSE and A-Level.
Support and mentor departmental colleagues, promoting professional development and collaboration.
Track and analyse student progress, using data to inform teaching and intervention strategies.
Champion mathematical enrichment through clubs, competitions, and wider school initiatives.
Contribute positively to the wider academic, pastoral, and co-curricular life of the school.

Essential Requirements
A degree in Mathematics or a related discipline.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience teaching Maths at GCSE and A-Level.
Leadership experience or clear readiness to take on departmental leadership.
A strong commitment to delivering high-quality Maths education.
