Salaried GP - Melbourne Park Medical Centre

We welcome applications from enthusiastic and committed GPs who would be interested in joining our well-organized, friendly training practice. An interest in LARC is desirable.

The vacancy is for 6 sessions, over 4 days, (Monday morning/Tuesday morning/Wednesday all day/Friday all day) to compliment the current GP team. This will include one on-call day each week.

Salary will be dependent on experience.

We are looking for a GP who will integrate well with the clinical team and contribute to continuing practice development. This post is particularly suited to anyone who enjoys regular sessions in the same practice, with all the benefits that it brings in terms of continuity of care and teamworking.

About the practice:

• Training Practice with 4 GP Partners, 2 salaried GP and up to 3 GP Registrars.
• Weekly clinical meetings and twice monthly whole team meetings.
• 3 Practice nurses, 1 Health Care Assistant and a Phlebotomist.
• Management Team with Administration, Secretarial and Reception support teams.
• Modern, purpose-built, leased premises (completed May 2015) which provide a pleasant, spacious and energy efficient work environment.
• CQC rated ‘Good’.
• High QOF achievers with a list size of around 8500.
• Manageable workload with a low visit rate.
• EMIS Web Clinical System with DocmanX document management software.
• No extended hours/access.
• Access to ARRS roles, including Clinical Pharmacists, Social Prescribers and First Contact Physiotherapists, as part of Aspire PCN.
• Phoenix Program support may be available.
• We are licensed as an A rated Skilled Worker Sponsor and welcome applicants who require sponsorship.

We are offering:

• A salaried post, initially for 1 year. Salary is negotiable, dependent on experience.

• Start date expected to be from August 2026. (This is flexible, and we are prepared to wait for the right person.)
