About the Role
As Teacher of History , you will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 , with the possibility of contributing to KS5 depending on experience and timetable. The curriculum is designed to provide students with a broad understanding of historical periods while developing key analytical skills such as source evaluation, argument building and historical interpretation.
Students explore a wide range of topics including British history, international conflicts, social change and political movements. Lessons are structured to encourage discussion and debate while ensuring students develop strong written and analytical skills.
You will work closely with colleagues in the Humanities department to plan lessons, share resources and ensure that students experience a well-sequenced curriculum that supports long-term understanding.
