A successful academy in Nottingham is seeking a Computer Science Teacher to join their school from January 2026 . They are open to appointing an experienced teacher or a strong ECT.
School Information
This mixed academy, rated ‘Outstanding’ , educates around 1,450 students and is known for its exceptional teaching quality, well-structured pastoral care, and high levels of student engagement. The school is based close to Nottingham’s public transport networks, providing easy access from across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
The Computer Science department is modern, ambitious, and forward-thinking. Experience and Qualifications
PGCE/QTS or equivalent
Strong Computer Science subject knowledge
Ability to teach KS3–KS5
Excellent classroom practice and understanding of pedagogy
Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities
Salary
Salary will be paid to scale on a direct permanent contract.
