Store Sales Assistant

We are looking for a talented team of staff to join our fantastic new store in delivering exceptional results and providing exceptional service to our customers to help us maintain our number one position as in the UK. Having a background in the Tile industry would be beneficial but not essential as full product knowledge training will be provided.

You’ll be part of a small in-store team with the number one goal to get to the heart of what customers need for their project. Be it new suggestions for a tile revamp, a huge trade order for commercial premises, or recommendations for add on products - you’ll understand what customers are looking for and offer solutions that fit their requirements.

Typical tasks include:

• Greeting and liaising with customers when they enter the store
• Providing information and advice on products / product types
• Assessing customers’ bathroom needs and providing relevant advice and guidance
• Dealing with requests for quotations
• Understanding customer requirements and suggesting products that suit
• Taking orders and processing payments
• Monitoring stock levels and advising on delivery
• General housekeeping

Hours and salary details

40 hours per week to fall between Monday to Friday 08:00 - 18:00, Saturday 09:00 - 17:00, Sunday 10:00 - 16:00 with a 60 minute lunch break and 2 rota days off.

Salary: £20,800 / £10.00 p/h
