Position : Mechanical Project Manager

Location: Nottinghamshire-based, with projects across West/East Midlands

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 (DOE)

We currently have an opportunity to join a client of ours, a growing M&E contractor based in Nottinghamshire who have been operating for over 15 years and specialise in full M&E installation and refurbishment projects valued at up to £3m across the Midlands.

Mechanical Project Manager Job Overview

• Managing mechanical projects from conception through to completion, including the initial pricing, tendering and securing of project opportunities
• Overseeing project labour and material requirements for the mechanical side of full M&E projects, largely biased towards commercial plumbing installations with values of between £1m - £3m
• Working with a range of clients including care homes, offices, student accommodation, hotels, and community/leisure facilities
• Managing 1 - 2 projects at a time, completing site visits and client meetings

Mechanical Project Manager Job Requirements

• Strong mechanical projects background, with experience leading on commercial plumbing and/or HVAC projects with values anywhere between £500k and £5m
• Experienced in estimating, pricing, and tendering for mechanical works
• Previous on-site technical experience is highly desirable
• CSCS Black Card / Manager Card essential
• Either a current or previous SMSTS qualification holder
• Full UK driving licence
• Based within a commutable distance of Nottingham

Mechanical Project Manager Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 (DOE)
• Car allowance provided
• Profit share scheme (additional OTE of between £5k and £15k per annum)
• 33 days holiday, including bank holidays
