This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist engineering business operating at the forefront of structural and infrastructure testing across the UK. The company works on high-profile projects including major stadiums, large commercial structures, and critical infrastructure, delivering essential safety and strength testing that underpins some of the country's most important builds.


The day to day responsibilities will be to perform static load testing, driving HGV vehicle to sites, erection of the test using the lorry mounted crane, undertaking site work using the automated pile testing equipment at customer sites. In this role you will be required to stay away from home on a weekly basis from Monday to Friday.


The ideal candidate will be someone who holds a HGV Class 2 Licence, mechanically minded and happy with stay away from home.


Whether your background is in REME, Royal Navy, RAF, your transferable skills will be highly valued.


The Role:
* Driving an HGV to sites across the UK and setting up structural pile load tests using lorry mounted crane equipment
* Carrying out static load testing using automated pile testing systems and recording technical data
* Site based field role working Monday to Friday with some weekend overtime opportunities


The Person:
* Must have a HGV licence (Class 2)
with confidence operating vehicles and associated equipment
* Mechanically minded/ experience (college, apprenticeship or part time hobby)
* Happy with stay away om home on a weekly basis (Monday to Friday)
