Science Technician

Full-time | Temporary | Immediate Start

I am working with a school in Nottingham that is seeking a proactive and reliable Science Technician on a temporary, full‑time basis.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Supporting the delivery of science lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics Preparing, setting up and safely maintaining laboratory equipment and materials
Ensuring all experiments follow health & safety procedures
Organising and storing chemicals and apparatus securely
Assisting teachers during practical sessions where required
Maintaining a clean, safe and well‑organised lab environment
Managing stock levels and ordering resources when needed
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

Previous school-based or lab technician experience
An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Strong organisation skills and the ability to work safely at all times
Good literacy, numeracy and basic IT skills
A calm, dependable approach and the ability to multitask confidently
A solid understanding of lab safety procedures
