Charity Fundraiser- Dogs Trust
If you’re confident, optimistic, resilient, and thrive on talking to people this could be the role for you!
Make a difference every day. Join Charity Link and help support life-changing causes like Dogs Trust!
Dogs Trust is a UK-based charity dedicated to ensuring that every dog can enjoy life to the full. Since its founding in 1891, it has expanded to become the country’s largest dog welfare organisation. The charity provides care and rehoming for thousands of dogs each year, supports owners with training and veterinary advice, and campaigns globally to improve dog welfare.
Operating entirely on donations, Dogs Trust also maintains a strict non-destruction policy for healthy dogs, and it works with communities and governments to promote responsible dog ownership and reduce suffering.
Your mission? Inspire members of the public to support charities like this through regular giving.
Your Role:
As a Home-to-Home Fundraiser, you’ll engage with people at their doorsteps, having meaningful conversations and inspiring them to support national charities such as Dogs Trust through regular donations or sponsorships. This role is focused on genuine, face-to-face interactions with purpose. While comprehensive training will be provided, success in the role requires confidence, resilience, and strong communication skills.
Each day, you’ll visit your assigned area during smart working hours of 11 am–7 pm, when sign-ups are most successful. You’ll speak with residents and encourage them to become long-term monthly donors (typically £10 per month). Your ability to build trust, overcome objections, and share a powerful message will be essential to achieving great results.
What We’re Looking For:
• Great communication skills
• Positive attitude and resilience
• Self-motivated and target-driven
• A genuine passion for charitable causes
• Door-to-Door/Fundraising experience (preferred but not essential — full training provided)
• Full UK driving license and access to your own car everyday (essential)
What You'll Get:
• £26,437k guaranteed basic salary
• Weekly pay + uncapped bonuses (giving a realistic OTE £47k)
• Full training provided
• Opportunities for progression
• Regular incentives and bonus
• Generous referral scheme.
Your Company:
Join Charity Link as a face-to-face fundraiser and be part of a company with over 30 years of experience supporting some of the nation’s most respected charities.
You’ll work with passionate, experienced teams and receive excellent training, career progression opportunities, and rewards beyond just financial.
If you’re confident, resilient, and enjoy talking to people, this role is full of variety, challenges, and the chance to connect with inspiring people every day.
At Charity Link, we believe that diverse teams drive stronger results, foster innovation, and create a more inclusive world. We are committed to building a workforce that reflects the communities we serve and ensuring that everyone—regardless of background, identity, or lived experience—feels valued, respected, and empowered to thrive. Equity and fairness are at the heart of our recruitment process. We actively seek to remove barriers, challenge bias, and provide equal opportunities for all candidates. Whether you’re new to the sector or bringing years of experience, we welcome passionate individuals who share our commitment to making a difference
