Van Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the East Mids/Nottingham area. We are looking for several dedicated multi-drop van drivers to join the team.

Shifts: Monday to Friday.

Hours: 9am starts (45 hours a week).

Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour PAYE.

Location: Bennerley Road, Blenheim Industrial Estate, Nottingham, NG6 8PE.

Job Type: Temp to Perm.


The role:

• Safely and efficiently operate a company van to deliver high value goods (parcels).
• Positively representing the brand, maintaining a clean vehicle and being a courteous driver.
• Safe loading and unloading of parcels on to a van.
• Delivery of products, goods and parcels safely and efficiently to designated locations within set timeframes.
• Ensure proper handling and delivery of sensitive materials with authorisation, if necessary and deliver high standards of customer care.
• Properly use and maintain delivery equipment, including handheld scanner, to deliver up to 100 shipments per day.

Requirements:

• A valid UK driver's license.
• Multi- drop experience (preferable).
• Have no more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Physical ability to manually load and unload vehicles.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
