Year 5 Teacher | Nottingham

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Year 5 Teacher to join a friendly and inclusive primary school in Nottingham . This is an exciting opportunity to work with Key Stage 2 pupils at a crucial stage of their education, helping them develop confidence, resilience, and independence as they prepare for Year 6.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging and creative lessons across the Year 5 curriculum, challenging pupils to achieve their full potential while maintaining high expectations for behaviour and learning. You will use assessment effectively to track progress, inform planning, and differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND and EAL.

This role is suitable for experienced teachers , though ambitious ECTs with strong KS2 experience are also encouraged to apply. Collaboration with colleagues, parents, and support staff will be essential to ensure that all pupils receive the guidance and support they need to succeed.

Key qualities we are looking for:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Experience teaching upper Key Stage 2 pupils

• Ability to create an engaging, inclusive, and well-managed classroom
