Teaching Assistant
EYFS Teaching Assistant Location: Nottingham (NG3) Start Date: After Easter Contract: Long-term, Full-time Salary: £95 - £105 per day Class Mate is working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in the NG3 area of Nottingham seeking a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis after the Easter break. The Role
- Support the delivery of engaging learning activities in the EYFS setting
- Assist with planning, preparation, and assessment of learning
- Encourage children’s development in literacy, numeracy, and social skills
- Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
- Work collaboratively with the class teacher and other support staff
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
- Experience working in an EYFS or Nursery setting
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Patient, caring, and passionate about early years development
- Committed to creating engaging and inclusive learning experiences
- Relevant EYFS qualification (Level 2/3 or equivalent)
- Recent experience supporting young children in a UK setting
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Ability to provide two professional references
