Attendance Officer - Nottinghamshire - January 2026
A forward-thinking 11–16 school in Mansfield is looking for a dedicated Attendance Officer to lead its attendance strategy from January 2026 .
About the Role
You will be responsible for:
- Monitoring daily attendance and punctuality
- Conducting first-day absence calls
- Working with pastoral staff and families to improve attendance
- Preparing weekly and termly attendance reports
- Managing attendance meetings and intervention plans
- Ensuring statutory attendance procedures are followed
About the School
The school has a strong pastoral system with excellent collaboration between tutors, Heads of Year and attendance support. You’ll join an environment where staff genuinely care about students and work closely with families.
