Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and dynamic team. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to support pupils aged 7-11, helping to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive. Key Responsibilities: Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons
Work with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce learning
Assist in the preparation of classroom resources and activities
Provide support for pupils with additional needs
Help manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Promote a safe, caring, and inclusive environment The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Experience working with primary-aged children (preferably Key Stage 2)
A positive, patient, and proactive attitude
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Basic literacy and numeracy qualifications (GCSE or equivalent)
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children Desirable (but not essential): Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3)
Experience supporting children with SEN
