Youth Support Worker
Before You Apply:
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Aged 22 or over (legal requirement).
- Hold a Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
- Able to commit to 173 hours per month, including sleep-in shifts.
- Have no recent or relevant criminal convictions (enhanced DBS check required).
- Eligible to work in the UK.

About the Role:
We are seeking a caring and resilient Residential Support Worker to join our team, supporting children and young people aged 8–17 in a safe, nurturing children’s home environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience or transferable skills from youth work , education , social care , or residential childcare .
- Build positive relationships and provide emotional and practical support to young people.
- Help manage daily routines, including school runs, appointments, and activities.
- Support with life skills such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care.
- Maintain accurate records and follow care plans.
- Work a rotational shift pattern including sleep-ins (additional allowance provided).
Candidate Requirements:
We’re looking for individuals who are:
- Passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people.
- Able to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
- Good communicators and strong team players.
- Reliable, empathetic, and committed to safeguarding.
Desirable:
Experience in residential childcare , youth support , education , or social care is an advantage, but full training will be provided.

Salary & Allowances:
£33,686–£36,686 per year (includes up to £6,000 sleep-in allowance and £1,000 complex care allowance)
