Run a Star Pub - Rose Of England Nottingham - Nottingham
Job Details
Pub Overview
A £120,000 refurbishment is planned at the Rose of England to transform it into a vibrant, community-led pub with a broader appeal. What would you do with this pub to make it a success? About the area Located on Mansfield Road (A60), the Rose of England benefits from a highly visible and accessible town centre position, with direct links into Nottingham city centre. This major arterial route brings consistent passing trade and strong connectivity to surrounding neighbourhoods. There are 1,832 adults within a 10-minute walk and an impressive 49,000 within 20 minutes, providing a substantial local customer base to tap into. The pub currently operates as a predominantly wet-led venue, relying heavily on weekend trade with limited daytime use and a traditional offer. The planned refurbishment will reposition the pub to appeal to a broader and more diverse audience, including families, casual diners, and After-Work Socialisers. While competition is strong due to the town centre location, this investment creates a clear opportunity to stand out with an improved environment, stronger food offer, and enhanced entertainment. Demographics The pub is located in a busy town centre with a large and varied customer base. The current audience is predominantly drinks-focused, with scope to attract a wider mix of customers including younger professionals and daytime visitors following the refurbishment. The offer The Rose of England is available on our investment tenancy agreement. Click here for more information on this agreement. Please refer to the 'Refurbishment Details' section for details of the investment being made.
