Field Service Engineer

Field Service Engineer, £35,000, Door-to-Door, Company Van (fuel card included), Overtime rates of 1.5x and 2.0x.

Shift - Monday-Thursday (07:30-15:30), early finish on Friday! (07:30-15:00).

About the company:

We re currently working alongside one of the UK s leading suppliers of automated conveying and material handling systems into the intralogistics sector. They develop bespoke solutions from concept through to finish.

After securing more contracts from their already existing clients for more work, they are looking to increase headcount to match the demand.

About the role:

This role is a fantastic opportunity for anyone wanting to maximise their earning potential as well as being able to work with the latest automated machinery and being able to expand their skill set. Our client will make sure you are trained on all aspects of the role, whether it be mechanical or electrical as well as upskilling you in a customer-facing role.

Responsibilities will include:

• To service, as well a ensure the smooth running of equipment within it s warranty
• To ensure all reactive call outs are completed within 24 hours.
• To be able to fault-find electrically, understand electrical components and to work comfortably mechanically.
• Covering the UK and being able to work in a pair to resolve any practical issues.
• To be a subject matter expert on the equipment and to be able to explain any issues to the customer.
• Working on-call every 1 in 6 weeks from Saturday to Friday.

About you:

• Being able to work in a mechanically biased role, whilst being able to LOTO and safely isolate.
• To be educated to a minimum of a Level 2 in an Engineering field.
• To understand elements of health and safety within an automated intralogistics environment.
