Welder/Fabricator/Plater
WELDERS WANTED - MULTIPLE ROLES ACROSS DERBYSHIRE & NOTTINGHAMSHIRE Location: Derbyshire & Nottinghamshire (Nottingham, Derby, Mansfield, Alfreton, Ilkeston & surrounding areas) Salary: £13 - £19 per hour (depending on experience & shift patterns) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent & Contract Opportunities Shift Patterns: Days, Nights, and Rotating Shifts Available GI Pro is proud to be working in partnership with a number of respected and growing engineering and manufacturing businesses across Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire. Due to continued growth and high demand, we are now recruiting skilled Welders for several long-term opportunities with immediate starts available. We are looking for candidates with experience in:
- MIG Welding
- TIG Welding
- Fabrication
- Working from technical drawings
- Welding on mild steel, stainless steel or aluminium
- Structural and/or bespoke work
- Competitive hourly rates with regular overtime
- Stable, ongoing work with potential for permanent contracts
- Opportunities across a range of industries - including structural steel, bespoke fabrication, and heavy engineering
- Supportive employers with excellent facilities
- Weekly pay through GI Pro available
- Proven experience as a welder in an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Own PPE and basic hand tools (desirable but not essential)
- NVQ or City & Guilds in Welding/Fabrication (advantageous)
