A friendly and fast-paced secondary school in Hucknall is seeking a polished, welcoming School Receptionist & Visitor Coordinator to join the team from January 2026 .
The Role
You’ll be the first point of contact for families, visitors and staff, creating a positive first impression of the school each day. Responsibilities include:
Managing the reception desk and visitor process
Handling switchboard calls, emails and daily enquiries
Supporting staff and students with routine administrative needs
Overseeing visitor passes, safeguarding checks and contractor sign-in
Assisting with letters, reports and general admin tasks
The School
The reception area is a newly refurbished space at the centre of the school’s modern campus. Staff enjoy a friendly, collegiate working atmosphere, supported by excellent pastoral and administrative systems.

Ability to remain calm during peak busy periods
