A well-established independent co-educational school in Nottingham is seeking an engaging and enthusiastic Teacher of Drama to join its flourishing Performing Arts department from January 2026 .
The Role
You’ll teach Drama from KS3 through to A-Level, contributing to a department that celebrates performance, imagination and self-expression. The school stages multiple productions each year — from classical plays to contemporary theatre — and encourages teachers to bring their own creative flair to rehearsals and direction.

Set within attractive grounds, this independent school balances academic excellence with outstanding arts provision. The Performing Arts Centre includes a 250-seat theatre, rehearsal studios, and costume and lighting workshops.
The department works closely with the English and Music faculties, integrating creativity into the wider curriculum and building students’ confidence both on and off stage.
You’ll Bring
- QTS and a degree in Drama, Theatre or Performing Arts.
- Strong practical and academic understanding of Drama teaching.
