Children’s Home Manager Location: Nottingham
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum (depending on experience)

About the Opportunity We’re delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a high-quality, well-established care provider with a proven record of achieving ‘Outstanding’ ratings with CQC. They are now opening a brand-new 3-bed EBD children’s home in Nottingham and are looking for an experienced, passionate Registered Manager to lead the home from the very beginning.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make their mark, helping young people settle into a nurturing, therapeutic environment and building a positive team culture around them.
Key Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the registration, leadership, and day-to-day running of a 3-bed EBD home.
• Provide high-quality care and support that promotes positive outcomes and emotional wellbeing for young people.
• Recruit, train, and lead a skilled staff team who share a commitment to providing outstanding care.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safeguarding requirements under Ofsted and company policy.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with young people, families, and professionals.
• Oversee care planning, audits, and reporting to ensure continuous improvement.
• Create a safe, supportive home where children feel valued, respected, and able to thrive.

Requirements

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards it).
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a management or senior role within a residential children’s home.
• Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and EBD support.
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to build a positive team culture.
• Passionate about achieving the best possible outcomes for children and young people.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
