Job Title: SEND Learning Support Assistant

Salary: £95 - £110 a day

TeacherActive are working with an amazing school around the Long Eaton area that are seeking a SEND learning support assistant. They believe their pupils should be inspired by their school experience, feel safe, happy and confident, and take great memories with them that will stay in their heads and hearts forever when they leave.

The school is looking for multiple learning support assistants to join their lovely team. The successful candidate must have experience working with children with SEND and SEMH across KS2 classes. There is multiple children in the school that require 1:1 work, some having behavioural problems so you must have great behaviour management. The role will be full time, 5 days a week, ongoing long term with potential to a permanent placement.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working in a SEND setting is desirable
• Able to work 1:1 and small groups
• Level 2 or 3 teaching assistant
• Great communication skills
• Firm yet caring approach
