A diverse and ambitious 11–16 academy in Nottingham is seeking a motivated MFL ECT (French + Spanish) to join its growing language faculty from January 2026 .
The Role
You’ll teach French as your main language with KS3 Spanish. The MFL department follows a phonics-based approach with structured repetition, retrieval practice, and clear speaking routines. All planning sits on a shared drive, giving ECTs a strong scaffold while allowing personal flair.

This large urban school is rated Good and praised for its strong leadership and behaviour systems. The MFL corridor includes specialist language classrooms equipped with audio systems, textbooks aligned with the curriculum, and clear visual support for vocabulary and grammar.
ECT Support
