Business Support Administrator

Business Support service requires a Business Support Administrator whose role is to complete a range of business-critical functions which enables the Assessment Social Care Team to carry out their work with the Children, Families and Cultural Services of Nottinghamshire.

We are looking for a candidate with a wide range of experiences to provide bespoke administrative support to busy front line social work teams. This work is often challenging but rewarding. As an experienced administrator you will require a broad range of skills including excellent keyboard skills and experience of Microsoft packages including word, excel, outlook, SharePoint & Teams. You will have the ability to be organised and able to work on your own initiative. You will possess good problem-solving skills and will demonstrate a flexible and professional attitude with the full appreciation of the need for confidentiality and in line with GDPR. Excellent customer service skills are essential to be able to deal with people sensitively and treat all customers with respect and consideration.

You will be able to prioritise a busy and varied workload, working quickly and accurately to strict deadlines. Duties will include data input and manipulation, arranging complex meetings and organising invites, minuting sensitive meetings, arranging and cancelling visits for social workers with families and agencies. You will need to facilitate and attend team meetings, liaise with other social care colleagues including managers in relation to social work tasks and timescales, arrange documentation for financial payments and provide accurate information to Business Support colleagues. Relevant training will be provided.

This role is hybrid with an expectation that you work from the office as required by business needs.
