Category Manager
At Specsavers, everything we do is rooted in a simple purpose: changing lives through better sight and hearing. We’re proud to offer outstanding value, to be loved by every customer who walks through our doors, and to create a workplace where people genuinely feel they belong. Within our Frames & Accessories team, that purpose comes to life by making eyewear feel accessible, aspirational, and exciting for everyone.
As our new Category Manager, you’ll help shape the retail performance of our frames and accessories, taking the lead on new launches and making sure every range feels fresh, relevant, and commercially strong. Your days will be varied one moment you’ll be steering cross‑functional teams to bring new collections to life, and the next you’ll be crafting engaging launch materials, publications, and guidance that help stores feel confident and ready. You’ll become the go‑to expert for everything happening in your category, analysing sales, reviewing launches, and turning insights into meaningful recommendations that truly drive performance.
You’ll keep our brand and range information up to date, partner with data and operations teams to ensure everything is set up correctly, and support stores with the day‑to‑day questions that help them deliver a brilliant customer experience. You’ll also help shape how we show up in the market—nominating frames for campaigns and PR, supporting market reviews, and keeping our Frame Room beautifully merchandised and aligned with business priorities. Through it all, your curiosity, eye for detail, and ability to communicate clearly will set you up for success.
To thrive here, you’ll bring strong project management skills, great writing abilities, confidence in influencing others, and a love for product and category management. If you’ve worked in optics or retail, even better, but above all, we’re looking for someone energetic, eager to learn, and ready to make a real impact.
