Nottingham Manufacturing Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
Driving continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, scrap, and manufacturing costs. Improving manufacturing processes and procedures to increase efficiency and performance. Delivering structured improvement projects across plant operations. Providing strong engineering problem-solving support within a busy shop-floor environment. Supporting the site’s drive toward improved quality, delivery, and process stability. Manufacturing Engineer
Essential Experience / Skills / Qualifications:
Degree-qualified Engineer Proven experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role within a structured manufacturing environment. Strong Continuous Improvement background (Lean / Six Sigma experience preferred; Green or Black Belt advantageous but not essential). Experience within industries such as automotive, aerospace, rail, or similar process-driven manufacturing environments. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes with the ability to quickly assess and improve them. Experience with robotics (ABB), CNC programming, or coatings would be advantageous but not essential. Strong engineering problem-solving and analytical skills. Manufacturing Engineer
