We have an excellent career opportunity for the role of Home Care Assistant to join our amazing team here at Visiting Angels in the Nottingham areas of Radcliffe-on- Trent , Bingham, West Bridgford, Cotgrave, Clifton, Newark and surrounding towns.

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. This position requires effective communication skills, a valid driving licence, and a commitment to delivering personalised care.

Pay rates:

• Excellent pay rates at £13.00 per hour plus 30p mileage and drive time at £12.21 per hour.
• Weekend Rates £13.25 per hour.
• After successful probation period: £13.06 per hour and weekend rates £13.60, mileage 35p per mile.

Working times:

• Morning shifts 7am- 2.30pm Evenings 3pm -11pm.
• Weekend availability.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support clients in meal preparation and planning according to their dietary needs.
• Help with household chores such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
• Implement and follow care plans tailored to each client's individual requirements.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes or concerns to the care team.
• Drive clients to appointments or social activities as needed.
• Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes.

Experience:

• Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong communication skills in English are required for effective interaction with clients and their families.
• A valid driving licence is essential.
