The Role
The school is seeking a highly organised and strategic Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operational functions of the school. This is a senior support staff role, working closely with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure that all non-teaching aspects of the school run smoothly and efficiently.
You will be responsible for managing key operational areas, including facilities, health and safety, compliance, administration, and support services. This role requires strong leadership, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operational management of the school
Lead and manage support staff teams, including administration and site staff
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Manage school facilities, maintenance, and site development
Oversee contracts and relationships with external providers
Support financial planning and budget monitoring
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures
Ensure safeguarding and compliance standards are met
Support the organisation of school events and activities
Contribute to strategic planning with senior leadership
