Maths Teacher (ECT) - Nottingham - January 2026
An ambitious and supportive secondary school in Nottingham is seeking a Teacher of Mathematics (ECT) to join its well-established Maths department from January 2026 .

The Role
You’ll teach Maths across KS3–KS4, focusing on fluency, reasoning and problem-solving. The department uses a clear and consistent curriculum, providing structure while allowing flexibility for creative approaches.
Support for ECTs
- Comprehensive induction and mentoring.
- Time each week for observation and reflection.
- Access to a regional Maths subject network.
- CPD focused on mastery teaching and effective feedback.
You’ll Bring
- QTS or equivalent qualification in Mathematics.
- Enthusiasm for building student confidence and resilience in numeracy.
- Strong organisation and clear communication.
