About the Role

An established and growing law firm is seeking a dedicated Child Care Solicitor to join its North West-based team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Family Solicitor to deliver high-quality legal advice and representation across a range of legally aided public and private family law matters, including adoption and special guardianship cases.

This opportunity is well suited to a motivated Family Solicitor who is confident undertaking their own advocacy and is committed to providing excellent client care.

Key Responsibilities

• Family Solicitor to manage a full caseload of legally aided public and private family law matters, including adoption and special guardianship orders
• Represent clients in court where appropriate
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear and consistent communication
• Keep up to date with developments in children and adoption law and relevant legislation
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high standards of service
• Prepare and complete legal documentation accurately and efficiently

What we are looking for:

• Qualified Family Solicitor in England & Wales
• Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience
• Children Law Accredited
• Experience in advocacy and familiarity with family court procedures
• Strong communication and client care skills
• Ability to manage a busy and varied workload effectively
• Highly organised with strong time management skills
• Commercial awareness and ability to contribute to business development
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Team-oriented with a commitment to professional standards
