About the Role

As Teacher of Computer Science , you will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 , with the potential to contribute to KS5 depending on experience and timetable. You will deliver a well-sequenced curriculum that develops:

• Strong computational thinking and problem-solving skills

• Secure understanding of programming concepts and algorithmic thinking

• Knowledge of computer systems, networks, cybersecurity and data representation

• Digital literacy skills and responsible use of technology

• Exam confidence through modelling, deliberate practice and structured feedback

Experience and Qualifications

The successful candidate will:

• Hold QTS (or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification)

• Have strong subject knowledge in Computer Science / Computing

• Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons with high expectations

• Use assessment effectively to identify gaps and secure progress

• Build positive relationships and maintain a calm, purposeful classroom culture

• Work collaboratively within a supportive Computing team
