About the Role:
We're looking for a Data Science Associate to join our team, supporting Research, Trading, Risk, and Operations functions in the blockchain space. You'll work closely with a small team of blockchain engineers and quant developers, reporting directly to the VP, Data Science.

Requirements:
Your Expertise:
- Minimum of 2 years in financial engineering, technology, or quantitative investment functions, with practical experience in on-chain data querying and/or deploying smart contracts.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., engineering or computer science).
Experience with various blockchain implementations like EVM, Cosmos SDK, or Solana, and associated codebases.
- Proficiency in two or more languages: Python, JavaScript, Go, Solidity, Rust, DAML.
- Hands-on experience with tools/frameworks like OpenZepplin, Hardhat, Ganache, Mythril, Truffles, and related testing libraries like Waffle and Chai.
- Proficiency in complex data extraction or processing using Python, SQL, Snowflake.
- Familiarity with advanced quantitative techniques and models for optimization, classification, inferences, or forecasts.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a highly responsive team, handling critical issues in an operationally crucial analytic environment.
- Collaborative, creative, and team-oriented approach to R&D, investing, and technology.
- Ability to work across teams with diverse skill sets in blockchain infrastructure, smart contracts, trading, and risk management.
- Proven problem-solving skills in highly technical and quantitative projects within financial services.
