We do this by providing a network of services that work together to suit the needs of the people we support – providing a safety net for some and for others a platform for real and lasting change.
We are looking for enthusiastic Duty Workers to work night shifts and join an established team in an Ofsted registered, supported accommodation service for young people aged 16-25yrs. This service works closely with Children’s Services in Nottinghamshire County Council. We provide support and accommodation to care experienced young people and homeless 16 & 17yr olds.

These goals could be around increasing independence skills, such as budgeting, cooking cleaning or accessing education, training and education and keeping themselves safe. You will contribute to maintaining a safe, supportive environment, where young people make progress. Shift work is a necessary part of the role, weekends and bank holidays will be routinely worked; You will work four shifts on and four shifts off, starting at 21;30 - 8:30am. The role will provide a good foundation of experience to move onto more specialist roles within Framework and other careers.
What We’re Looking For:
- A commitment to support young people to succeed
- The ability to maintain accurate and up to date records
- The ability to build rapport easily with young people
- A motivation to ensure that young people have the life skills necessary for independent living
- The ability to understand and apply the learning around safeguarding
This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys working in a busy environment, is resilient and who is rewarded by seeing young people achieve.
