The Role

• Position: Year 1 Class Teacher
• Location: Beeston, Nottingham
• Start Date: January 2026
• Contract: Permanent – Full-Time or Part-Time considered
• TLR: Available for subject or phase leadership (for the right candidate)

In this role, you will:

• Lead a Year 1 class with creativity, care and clarity
• Deliver engaging, inclusive lessons that build strong foundations in learning
• Support children’s social, emotional and academic development
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share planning and best practice
• Build strong relationships with pupils, families and the wider school community
• (If applicable) Lead a subject or key area as part of the wider school improvement plan

What We’re Looking For

• A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with KS1 experience, ideally in Year 1
• A reflective and enthusiastic practitioner with a commitment to child-centred learning
• A warm, positive team player who contributes to a supportive school culture
• Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills
• A teacher who is open to, or ready for, leadership responsibilities (if interested in a TLR)
