Sports Assistant / Lifeguard

Pay Rate: £12.77 per hour

Holiday Pay Rate: £1.54 per hour

Location: University of Nottingham, University Park Campus, David Ross Sports Village

Dress Code: Smart casual

Duties and responsibilities

• Supervise swimming pool activities to ensure the safety of all users at all times.
• Respond effectively to emergencies and incidents in line with pool operating procedures.
• Carry out routine pool safety checks and maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

• Provide excellent customer service and assist facility users where required. Support the safe setup and takedown of activities within the facility.
• Work collaboratively with the wider operations team to ensure smooth day-to-day running of the facility.
• Attend required training and maintain relevant lifeguarding qualifications and competencies.
