Senior Planner
This is a key role for an experienced professional to provide project planning, project control, and retrospective delay analysis services across the full project lifecycle. You will work as a Senior Consultant in a planning and delay role, delivering high-level services across various sectors for a diverse client base.Key Responsibilities * Portfolio Management: Manage a diverse portfolio of clients and projects, ensuring high standards of delivery. * Team Leadership: Lead multi-disciplinary teams; review and report on all technical and commercial aspects of projects. * Mentorship: Act as a role model for the team, providing coaching, training, and performance management to develop the next generation of construction professionals. * Reporting & Advisory: Author, edit, and prepare detailed client reports. Review complex commercial situations and provide strategic advice to clients. * Strategic Support: Provide high-level support to colleagues and Directors to achieve business objectives. * Business Development: Support company business development initiatives, attend events, and promote your professional profile within industry institutions. Requirements * Experience: Minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience with a solid background in both pre and post-contract project planning. * Education: Degree-educated in a relevant field. * Technical Skills: Expert proficiency in Asta Powerproject or Primavera P6 software. Knowledge of MPS is also advantageous. * Delay Analysis: Proven experience in retrospective delay analysis is essential. * Sector Knowledge: Experience within the Civil Engineering, Building, Power, or Process sectors. * Contractual Knowledge: Proficiency with NEC and FIDIC suites of contracts. * Soft Skills: Well-developed client-facing skills, outstanding time management, and excellent report-writing abilities.
