Role Overview

The school is seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Manager to oversee financial operations and ensure that the school’s resources are managed effectively.

The successful candidate will lead financial planning, budgeting and reporting processes while working closely with senior leaders to ensure that financial decisions support the school’s long-term goals.

This role requires someone with strong financial expertise, excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage complex financial systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the school’s financial systems and accounting processes
• Prepare and monitor annual budgets
• Produce financial reports for senior leaders and governors
• Monitor expenditure and ensure financial efficiency
• Manage procurement processes and supplier relationships
• Oversee payroll coordination and financial transactions
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies
• Support strategic financial planning
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Coordinate financial audits and reporting requirements
• Work closely with senior leaders to support resource allocation
• Monitor funding streams and financial forecasting

Candidate Profile

The school is seeking a candidate with strong financial management experience and a professional approach to organisational operations.
