A well-established residential developer is looking to appoint a Senior Architectural Technician to support the design and technical delivery of new housing developments across the East Midlands.

You will play a key role in producing accurate, compliant and coordinated CAD drawings to support projects from planning through to construction. Working closely with internal departments and external consultants, you will ensure technical information is delivered efficiently and in line with current regulations, warranty requirements and company standards.

The role will involve preparing and amending drawings for residential schemes including site layouts, house type plans, elevations, sections, legal plans and construction details. You will also assist with coordinating design information, responding to technical queries from site teams and supporting the smooth delivery of developments through the pre-construction and construction phases.

Requirements of the Senior Architectural Technician:
Background within residential housing or housebuilding
Strong experience producing technical and planning CAD drawings for housing developments
Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations and warranty provider standards (NHBC / LABC / Premier)
Experience coordinating with consultants, local authorities and internal departments
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage drawing revisions and documentation
